A funeral home is entrusted to make the family feel at ease about the home-going ceremony of their loved one.  Carnes Funeral Home did provide support in this endeavor but fell far short in taking care of the emotional needs of our family.  As family and guests arrived to our service, they were greeted by a representative soliciting advance funeral services. It was extremely insensitive and disrespectful to do so during our time of mourning.  The payment for the funeral was also requested during our wake service, which again was insensitive and inappropriate timing.  The most problematic of all was the failure to ensure our loved one was transported in a timely manner to his final resting place in another state.  The failure of Carnes Funeral Home to transport our loved one to the airport caused our family to have a service without our loved one present.  This caused both emotional distress and financial hardship. Because of this error, hotel stays were extended and members of the family were unable to attend the final ceremony of our loved one due to Carnes Funeral Home’s failure to follow through on their responsibility.  The family was not contacted about this error. When we identified this gross misstep, we reached out to the funeral home.  However, the funeral home has yet to contact us regarding any type emotional or compensatory damages.

Mario was wonderful. He was so helpful and made a difficult process much easier. Our family truly appreciates all that Carnes Funeral Home did.

    They are always very nice and respectful when I have called....They do beautiful work. Their prices are reasonable and they have several options to choose from...Ihave used them before and was happy with them. I will recommend  Carnes Funeral Home to everyone iknow..

    Matt Watson and his team at Carnes handled arrangements for my wife Catherine Sedlak. I cannot say enough about the professionalism, care and compassion provided by Matt and his team. All aspects of our funeral where handled to perfection. The flowers, the presentation, photographs, video, Obit and programs as well as all coordination.
