Enfield Crematorium
About Us
Enfield Crematorium, a Grade II listed red brick building in north-east London, was built in 1938. With its distinctive twin chapel wings, central arched arcade with clock tower, and triple tiered fountain, it is an imposing location for your loved one's final farewell.
One of London's most sizeable crematoriums, it has the capacity for larger services as each chapel can accommodate up to 150 seats. The outer areas contain a courtyard for viewing floral tributes, connected with cloistered walkways. There is also a small Room of Remembrance for visitors who wish to view the Book of Remembrance. Despite its longevity, the crematorium still caters to modern needs such as sound systems, accessible toilets, hearing loops, and provides a degree of onsite parking bays.
The Gardens of Remembrance are a substantial 50 acres in size, with carefully landscaped areas that are perfect for a quiet place to remember your loved ones. Naturally, they also provide lawns and gardens to scatter or inter ashes with a choice of memorials to suit your needs.
Enfield Crematorium is well-connected by public transport, with Turkey Street British Rail station and many bus stops and minicab companies in the vicinity.
